About this Event

Inspired by the first marathon competition in the 1896 Olympics, the Boston Marathon® is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's best-known road racing events. The course runs through eight Massachusetts cities and towns, challenging runners through Heartbreak Hill, culminating in the center of Boston where the official finish line is located at Copley Square, alongside the Boston Public Library.

 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program is proud to take a team of runners to the 129th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America. 

 

THE TEAM IN TRAINING EXPERIENCE

Your impact will go beyond the finish line when you join our community of teammates from across the country as you train for this unforgettable event. The TEAM community provides support every step of the way. 

Members of our Boston Marathon team will have 1:1 support from a professional fundraising staff partner to support you in exceeding your fundraising goals and help tell your story about why you’re raising lifesaving funds for LLS. To help you meet your race goals, teammates will have access to our Training Resource Hub, exclusive training plans delivered through TrainingPeaks, educational webinars, and one-on-one support with a professional TNT Coach. 

Teammates will receive a Team In Training branded jersey to wear on race day, an invitation to a Team Celebration during event weekend, and access to a guaranteed race entry (fee paid by runner). 

 

Fundraising Commitment Levels

The funds raised by Team In Training teammates help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society explore new paths to cures, supporting approximately 300 active, cutting-edge research projects in the most promising new areas of immunotherapy and personalized medicine in cancer research.

 

HOW TO APPLY

If you are interested in joining our team, please complete the APPLICATION no later than Sunday, November 17. All applicants will be notified of selection decisions by the end of November.

 

Team In Training will not have a team hotel block for this event.
